Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Supervisor Day Shift

Willow Brook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in beautiful Kutztown, PA is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse 7am-3pm Assistant Supervisor.

This position has a Competitive rate and is based upon experience!

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• The Registered Nurse Supervisor assists in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, including but not limited to : ensuring use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, infection control measures.
• The Registered Nurse Supervisor assists in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for the residents.
• The RN Supervisor rounds on nursing units that includes but is not limited to : checking in with staff, checking residents, greeting all new admissions.
• The Registered Nurse Supervisor assists in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life. Provides support and direction for nurses.
• The RN Supervisor monitors and assure that incidents, accidents and resident / staff complaints are reported and documented correctly. Assists in determining root cause, and in initiating preventive measures / interim safety plan. Assure communication to all responsible parties including administration and unit managers.
