PANP Burn Center Grand Rapids, MI

The Burn APP will join the Acute Care Surgery division at Butterworth Hospital supporting an established burn center seeking verification. This role combines inpatient and outpatient responsibilities including rounding on burn patients assisting with procedures and participating in clinic care. The APP will collaborate closely with Burn surgeons ACS APPs and rotating residents contributing to education and performance improvement initiatives.

Key Highlights :

Schedule : MondayFriday flexible; minimal weekends; intermittent home call (no more than 1 weekday night per week).

Scope : Inpatient care (floor ICU) outpatient clinic procedural support.

Team : 5 physicians 8 APPs; strong culture and high retention.

Growth Opportunity : Help shape the role and advance burn program verification.

Requirements :

35 years experience preferred (burn or wound care experience ideal).

Ability to care for adult and pediatric patients.

Team-oriented adaptable and committed to high-quality care.

Physician Assistant

Required Masters Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program

LIC-Physician Assistant - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire required

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required

CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required

Nurse Practitioner

Required Masters Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a masters post-masters or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
