Create shop drawings, including embed, plan, elevation, and detail drawings, based on architectural and structural documentation. Generate BIM data as needed to support project coordination. Ensure compliance with internal processes, industry practices, and applicable regulations. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure design intent is achieved. Minimal travel may be required. 5+ years of experience in the design of facades and curtain wall. At least 3+ years of direct experience with unitized curtain wall design. Ability to interpret and apply architectural and construction specifications. Skilled in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Knowledge of structural behavior and thermal performance of materials. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Mid-Senior level Full-time Design and Engineering Construction

Overview
- Responsible for the design and detailing of building enclosures, fenestration systems, and other interior and exterior architectural components.
- Typical systems include unitized curtain walls, entrances, and partitions.
- Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate, code-compliant drawings that meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Contributing to the development of design processes and technical standards. Works under the general direction of an engineering or technical manager.
