Responsibilities

Prepares for patient visit by performing chart preparation

Manages patient flow, including preparing rooms, patients in accordance with policies and procedures and rooming standards

Performs tests / procedures as ordered

Administers medications as ordered by provider including documentation

Communicates with other providers to ensure continuity of care

Obtains medical record release of information in accordance with HIPAA policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Graduate of a medical assistant program

BLS Certification

At least one year of medical assistant experience

MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE

1 year PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE
