Safety and Security : Front Desk agents are often responsible for monitoring security cameras and ensuring the safety of guests and their belongings. They may also be trained in emergency procedures. Phone and Reservations : They answer phone calls, take reservations and manage room availability through the hotel's booking system. Administrative Tasks : Front Desk Agents may also perform various administrative tasks, such as record keeping, managing guest profiles and keeping track of room inventory. Communication : Effective communication is key in this role, as front desk agents must interact with guests, hotel staff and management, ensuring that information flows smoothly and accurately.
