Overview :
We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to partner with the Executive Chef in leading a high-volume, scratch kitchen. This role is responsible for back-of-house operations, food quality, butchering oversight, and team development . The Sous Chef provides direction and training to the kitchen team while maintaining high standards of excellence, organization, and hospitality.
What You’ll Do :
- Support the Executive Chef in all areas of responsibility
- Lead back-of-house team members, daily operations, and food production
- Provide coaching, counseling, and feedback to develop team members
- Manage ordering of produce, seafood, and food supplies
- Conduct bi-weekly inventory with accuracy and accountability
- Write and manage back-of-house schedules to staffing goals
- Recruit, interview, and hire team members as needed
- Supervise and participate in butchering and portion control on each shift
- Create a positive kitchen culture focused on quality, cleanliness, and teamwork
