Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Operations Lead (Level 4 or 5) to join the Satellite Mission Systems (SMS) Business Development team in El Segundo CA !

Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position along with the ability to build strong relationships collaborate in a cross-functional environment and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.

Position Responsibilities :

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the SMS business development organization including but not limited to :
• Work with executive leadership to execute priorities manage the executive agenda and prepare strategic communications and reports.
• Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency accountability and cross-functional alignment.
• Monitor budgets financial performance and execution reports to support decision-making.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver regular updates to leadership
• Coordinate VIP visits in coordination with Boeing Government Operations and site leadership
• Identify operational improvements resolve bottlenecks and optimize processes for scalability.
• Act as a liaison across departments ensuring strategy is translated into clear actionable plans.
• Liaise with the greater Boeing in reporting as required to include financial performance.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range :

Level 4 : $120700 - $163300

Level 5 : $151300 - $204700
