Job Description

• Perform independent validation of financial models, ensuring they meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Analyze model performance and identify potential risks, proposing improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and model applications.
• Document findings and prepare detailed validation reports for stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in model risk management.
• Support audits and regulatory examinations related to model validation processes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on model validation techniques.
• Communicate complex technical findings to non-technical audiences effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Model Validation professional should have :

• Strong academic background in mathematics, finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in statistical and financial modeling techniques.
