Our direct client is seeking Frontend Developer (React + TypeScript) - Chicago, IL | Contract

Rate - $65-75 / hr W2

Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days / week onsite)

We're looking for a Frontend Developer with strong React and TypeScript skills to support a high-impact internal project aimed at improving the developer experience. This role focuses on building and integrating tools that help internal engineering teams streamline application deployment and centralize documentation using Backstage , a popular open-source developer portal.

Must-Have Skills :

React and TypeScript frontend development
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines
Ability to work on platform-level tools with a developer-centric focus
Experience with Backstage or similar internal developer portal tools

Nice-to-Haves :

Backend experience (Node.js, APIs, etc.)

Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Azure)

Background in financial services or enterprise environments
