Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the nation's oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.

Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.3. Previous experience preferred.4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.5. Proficient computer skills
