About the Role

Corner Resources is hiring for a client seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, defining clear requirements, and helping drive effective, high-value solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage business analysis plans, outlining scope, stakeholders, deliverables, and timelines.

Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to capture and clarify requirements.

Translate business objectives into technical documentation that is easy to interpret by both business and IT audiences.

Lead daily standups or team check-ins to promote collaboration and ensure task completion.

Maintain active communication with project stakeholders to manage expectations and progress.

Oversee requirements from initial discovery through design, testing, and implementation phases.

Evaluate new or changing business requests and ensure proper prioritization.

Map and document both current (“as-is”) and desired (“to-be”) business processes.

Identify potential risks and dependencies and assist with mitigation planning.

Support post-deployment activities by gathering feedback and recommending process improvements.

Demonstrate strong time management, communication, and follow-through across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.

– years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for IT or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of infrastructure components such as networks, servers, cloud platforms, and security systems.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, and diagramming applications such as Visio or Lucidchart.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities with attention to detail.

Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or Waterfall project methodologies.

Preferred : Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA).
