MUST HAVES :

Bachelor's degree computer science or related field, or comparable work experience

5+ years experience working in network technologies

Extensive experience with Palo Alto and Cradlepoint

PLUSSES

Experience leading a firewall refresh or network refresh

Day to Day :

An employer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Network Architect for a direct-hire opportunity. This person's main role will be to plan, design and oversee the design, installation, and management or network and infrastructure. This person will be the SME for the network specialties that includes routing and switching, wireless, firewall and security. This person will document the environment and update the knowledge base with relevant information. This person will be on a team of 14 full-time employees and additional contract personnel that assist with data centers and cabling. The IT department is undergoing a firewall refresh and is about to kick off a network refresh the next 3 years utilizing Palo Alto and Cradlepoint, so experience with those technologies is necessary.
