TRC is looking to fill a Sr IT Support Specialist position. This role is 100% onsite in Deerfield Beach Florida. Reporting to the IT Support Manager, the IT Support Specialist provides hands-on hardware and software support, manages the desktop support environment, and performs minor server / network administration to ensure business continuity. This role serves as the escalation point and subject matter expert for junior technicians and requires strong technical judgment, problem-solving skills, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SOPs for desktop, application, and warehouse system troubleshooting.
- Monitor, document, triage, and resolve incidents / requests in ServiceNow ITSM; escalate when necessary.
- Provide on-call support during nights / weekends as part of a rotation.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and support to associates.
- Mentor and train TSA team members; ensure adherence to service management processes.
- Troubleshoot and configure software, printers, and connectivity issues beyond scripted steps.
- Provide 24 / 7 first-line support for warehouse automation technologies, including mechanical repairs.
- Act as local technical / project lead for enterprise IT initiatives.
- Maintain strong understanding of warehouse networked systems, POS infrastructures, and internal data flows.
- Serve as the escalation point during market center outages and coordinate vendor / operations communication.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience preferred.57 years of IT / security / ITSM experience, or 3 years as RNDC TSA II.Strong knowledge of network troubleshooting, TCP / IP, VLANs, and routing.
