Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering course of study from an ABET accredited programRequires educational credentials meeting the Spirit classification standards for engineers and typically 0 to 1 year of full-time experience in a stress or structural analysis engineering classification / positionGPA of 3.0 or higherFamiliarity with detailed FEA, CATIA V5 or similar tools, and classical structural analysis techniques using free body diagrams and internal loads model dataDemonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environmentWorking knowledge of aerospace industry practices and standardsAdvanced thinking and problem-solving ability
