Financial Analyst

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities for the US Division of a global Manufacturing and E-Commerce client. This position is responsible for assisting with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L support. The analyst will partner closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining annual budgets and rolling forecasts for manufacturing operations and marketing activities.

Consolidate financial inputs and prepare variance analyses versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.

Track sales performance and ensure sales team is kept informed on progress towards budgeted and investor-guided targets, and remain in lockstep with all commercial teams

Calculate and communicate accurate commercial KPIs and liaise with other business units to provide a coherent picture of global  performance

Report meaningful actionable information – Develop and present reports showcasing monthly and quarterly operating results to the US leadership team

Support special projects, scenario modeling, and data-driven decision-making initiatives as requested by management.

Develop dashboards and improve reporting efficiency through Excel or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Experience : Minimum 1 year of relevant financial analysis experience, preferably in an inventory heavy environment.

Technical Skills :

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.

Knowledge of BI / reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus.

Soft Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally.

Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
