Eikon Mechanical Engineer (Entry level)

Eikon Research is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a long-term career opportunity onsite at their Huntsville AL location. The Mechanical Engineer role is diverse and responsibilities may include but not limited to :

• Working with other system / RF engineers to design and develop models for new mechanical assemblies plan cabling (selection routing bulkheads) and source parts for different sub-assemblies.
• Procurement of mechanical assemblies including vendor engagement drawing preparation and verification
• Develop acceptance procedures for vendor hardware assemblies.
• Assembly of and assessment of prototypes for new hardware assemblies.
• Maintenance of the system bill of materials and configuration management.
• Creating and reviewing documentation including drawings for technical data packages work instructions thermal modeling / simulation results and other data products.
• Participating in Agile development practices including daily stand ups sprint planning and reviews.

Requirements

Minimum Candidate Requirements

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Candidate must be willing to work in-office when performing hardware integration and testing is required.

Candidate must have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
