Job Description
The Community Manager manages and coordinates the team’s daily activities and resources of the property to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals. Ensures operation complies with company policies, procedures, and all laws governing multi‑family housing.
Essential Roles You Will Play
Employee champion : manage team, perform evaluations, interview, hire, orient, and train new hires.
Meet revenue goals through sales and marketing strategies; identify improvements.
Budget modeling, forecasting, profitability analysis; manage financial records and invoicing.
Analyze market and economic trends; recommend improvements.
Lease enforcement : inspections, evictions, collections, notifications, and other processes.
Client / owner management : conduct property tours, provide updates, meet client needs; manage contractors and vendors.
Ensure property safety, cleanliness, appearance; report maintenance issues.
Resolve customer complaints and issues.
Competitive analysis : shop competition and build market relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours and Environment
Schedule : 40 hours per week.
Site Hours
Monday – Friday : 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday : 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday : 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Essential Requirements
Must be available to work weekends when scheduled.
Work in office environment with frequent exposure to outside elements; perform essential functions unaccompanied.
Qualifications Summary
Education : High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Supervisor experience : 1 – 3 years managing subordinates.
Management experience : 1 – 3 years in multi‑family property management.
Preferred background : Property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
Advanced skills : Communication, presentation, delivery; connect to people at all levels.
Computer skills : Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, database management; proficiency in property management software (Entrata Yardi, One Site).
Licenses : Valid driver's license.
Physical requirements : Push, pull, lift up to 20 lb independently and 50 lb with assistance; stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, squat; perform keyboard work intermittently.
Travel : Routine local travel; occasional non‑local travel.
