We're looking for a skilled Administrative Technician to provide advanced technical and administrative support to the Boards and NDA. The Department is a very diverse agency with approximately 26 different cash accounts, approximately 14 federal funds and performs similar accounting / budgeting duties for seven commodity board agencies. We are 90% regulatory and 10% promotion with 4 focus areas Food Safety Consumer Protection, Animal Plant Health Protection, Supervision, and Promotion. This position works directly with the seven external and four internal commodity boards : Corn, Wheat, Grain Sorghum, Dry Bean, Ethanol, Dry Pea & Lentil, Dairy, Grape & Wine, Craft Brewery, Potato, and Poultry. The primary duty is accounts receivable and accounts payable entry, along with procurement and contract management for the Boards.
