As the Director of Sales, a typical day involves conducting one-on-one debriefs with team members, reviewing KPIs and performance metrics, strategizing on sales approaches, and collaborating with other departments to ensure client satisfaction. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing, and implementing sales strategies, and leading a team of highly skilled sales professionals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and a passion for developing talent.
Overview of Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of seasoned sales representatives, providing guidance, motivation, and supportConduct regular one-on-one debriefs with team members to review performance and provide coachingMonitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales performance and achieve targetsDevelop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to grow market share and revenueCreate and execute sourcing plans to identify and pursue new business opportunitiesTrain and develop team members to enhance their skills and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clientsRepresent the company at industry events and build relationships with key stakeholdersWhat You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field8+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in service or facility-related industriesProven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled sales teamExperience leading a team of 7 or more direct reportsStrong sales leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance managementAbility to handle deadlines and competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsPassion for a servant leader approach to sales leadershipExperience with CRM systems and sales performance management toolsWhat's in it for You
