Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Summary :

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides skilled, technical nursing care to patients according to a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse (RN).

Job Requirements :

Education : Graduation from an accredited LPN or LVN program. Successful completion of an IV therapy course preferred.

Required Licenses and Certifications : Current California State License to practice as a Vocational Nurse. Experience : 1-3 years pediatric experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities : Able to perform CPR and comply with all infection control policies. Able to maintain emotional stability.

Physical Requirements :

Sit : Up to 3 hours / day

Stand / Walk : 6-8 hours

Bend / Stoop : Up to 3 hours

Reach : Up to 6 hours

Rep Use of UE / Grasp : Up to 6 hrs

Lift / Push / Pull : 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
