Plastic Molding Technology (PMT) manufactures high precision plastic parts for automotive, telecommunications, medical device, renewable energy, and industrial customers. The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver). A third facility in Longmont, CO (a suburb of Denver) provides in-house repair and fabrication of tools & dies.

Role Description :
This Demand Planning and Procurement Manager will be responsible for procurement and demand planning for the entire company. The Planning and Procurement Manager will report to the Company Controller. This person is also responsible for strategically overseeing the entire procurement process, ensuring PMT has the necessary materials and services at the right time and cost by planning ahead, identifying supplier needs, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory levels to support efficient operations, often with a focus on aligning procurement strategies with overall business goals.
What you’ll do :
Work with the Senior Leadership Team and critical stakeholders to develop a planning and procurement strategy aligned with the company’s current and future vision for all sitesPlan, schedule and coordinate production of customer’s products for all sitesEvaluate raw material inventory and equipment availability / suitability to ensure production successWork collaboratively with the production team to handle production disruptions and productivity problemsNegotiate and implement true cost analysis across all vendors and logistic partners.Develop strategic objectives to improve planning and procurement efficiency, reliability, and responsivenessManage vendor sourcing, monitoring and development utilizing associated performance data using scorecardsOwn the company’s Sales and Operations Planning process across all sitesEstablish a strong team working within ISO certificates and company requirementsProactively partner with the Finance organization to develop strategies and contingency plans that mitigate financial impact as needed.Investigate ways to improve productivity and reduce costsDeliver KPIs against financial targets and budgets.Maximize the positive impact on the company’s EBITDA achievement, growth objectives, and customer experience.Train and monitor PMT employees in the proper use of PMT’s ERP systemOther duties as requiredWhat we’re looking for :
7+ years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferredERP system knowledge such as IQMS or SAPPlanning and procurement experience for manufacturing company requiredInventory control experience preferredMulti-site experience preferredStrong business acumenExcellent leadership and management skillsStrong negotiation skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills10-15% travelPlastic Molding Technology does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters.
