Job Title : Test & Evaluation Engineer 3

Location : Seattle, WA

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of aerospace systems, focusing on mechanical systems labs for verification and validation.
  • Design test systems to simulate operational loads, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct tests on flight control actuators and systems, covering both primary and secondary controls.
  • Develop simulated control surfaces, load systems, and environmental enclosures for testing.
  • Simulate aircraft flight decks for testing avionic interfaces, flight control software, and control laws.
  • Test hydraulic components such as pumps, accumulators, and valves, ensuring safety and troubleshooting.

Skills Required :

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong documentation skills for test results.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems, load systems, and mechanical design.
  • Familiarity with model-based engineering tools like MATLAB and Simulink.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Experience in laboratory testing to standards such as ASTM and SAE.
