Certified TAB Technician

Charleston, South Carolina

25-30 / hour

Role Snapshot :

Perform air and water testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) on HVAC systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to execute TAB procedures accurately.

Utilize industry-standard equipment and tools to collect, record, and report system performance data.

Prepare detailed TAB reports for engineers, contractors, and building owners.

Collaborate with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and commissioning agents onsite.

Troubleshoot and diagnose system performance issues.

What You Bring :

  • 1+ years of experience performing TAB services in commercial HVAC environments.
  • Certification or working knowledge of one or more of the following :
  • NEBB (National Environmental Balancing Bureau).
  • AABC (Associated Air Balance Council).
  • Familiarity with HVAC system components, air handling units, VAVs, terminal boxes, and duct systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to document and communicate findings clearly.
