We’re a small, dedicated team looking for cooks who value detail, cleanliness, and consistency.

Role Overview

As a Line / Prep Cook, you’ll be a key part of our daily operations—helping to prep, cook, and execute our menu to standard during service. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chef and CDC to maintain prep systems, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and deliver excellent food in a collaborative, team-oriented setting.

This is a great opportunity for cooks who are looking to hone their skills in a serious kitchen that values technique, sharpness, and seasonality—but doesn’t lean into toxic or ego-driven culture.

Primary ResponsibilitiesPrep Work

  • Prepare vegetables, sauces, garnishes, dough, proteins, and other mise en place based on daily prep lists.
  • Follow recipes and labeling systems accurately to maintain consistency.
  • Track par levels and communicate low-stock or 86’d items promptly.

    • Line Cooking

  • Execute tickets on the line during lunch and / or dinner service.
  • Maintain clean and efficient station setups.
  • Ensure food goes out to standard..

    • Cleaning & Organization

  • Follow all closing procedures including cleaning stations, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized walk-in, dry storage, and prep areas.
  • Practice daily deep cleaning of equipment and surfaces on rotation.

    • Team Communication

  • Participate in team check-ins and pre-shift briefings.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with FOH and BOH staff.
  • Contribute to a respectful, low-drama kitchen culture.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 1–2+ years of professional kitchen experience (preferred, but we’ll train the right person).
  • Comfortable working busy services in a high-quality, tight kitchen.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
  • Knows basic kitchen math, understands prep yield and mise en place flow.
  • Open to coaching, interested in growth and consistency.
  • Experience with vegetable-forward cooking, dough, or pizza is a plus.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand for 6–8 hours per shift.
  • Able to lift 40–50 lbs regularly (e.g. produce crates, dough trays).
  • Able to work in hot and fast-paced environments during service.
