Residential Processor

We are looking for an experienced Residential Processor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of loan applications, from initial processing to underwriting and closing, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-volume lending operations and provide exceptional service to borrowers.

Responsibilities :

Process residential and home equity loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable guidelines.

Verify borrower documentation, including income, credit history, and property details, to ensure creditworthiness.

Prepare necessary disclosures, title work, and other loan-related documents in a timely manner.

Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient loan closings.

Maintain organized and accurate loan files throughout the processing lifecycle.

Apply internal policies and secondary market standards to assess loan eligibility.

Deliver exceptional service to members by addressing inquiries and providing updates on loan statuses.

Monitor and adhere to strict deadlines to maintain operational efficiency.

Collaborate with underwriting teams to support high-volume lending periods.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and investor-specific guidelines.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage processing or underwriting.

Proficiency in handling consumer loans, FHA loans, and HELOCs.

Strong knowledge of mortgage processing procedures and regulatory compliance.

Excellent analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and loan eligibility.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with borrowers and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with secondary market standards and investor guidelines.

Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate and organized loan documentation.
