SLAB BBQ & BEER Cedar Park is looking for individuals to join our SLAB SQUAD. SLAB is looking for a Bartender / Curbside individual to Keep It 100! This means someone who is self-driven, motivated, trustworthy, efficient, and has the ability to lead and work as a team. We look forward to hearing from you!

  • Note
  • Food Handler Certificate is required(available online). TABC Certificate required for serving beer.

Responsibilities

  • Leading by example in excellent customer service and leading our team
  • Keeping the "big picture" mentality while leading out front
  • Can step into any role on the team to help where is needed
  • Provides feedback to our SQUAD and helps performance improve
  • Knows our SQUAD members and knows how to motivate them
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

    • These are just a few of the responsibilities that our SLAB Shift Lead is responsible for. There are other responsibilities that come along with these. Being a SLAB Shift Lead carries other responsibilities that also bring with it leadership.

    Qualifications

  • Willingness to SERVE others on the SLAB team and guests that come through our doors
  • The ability to LEARN and LISTEN to others
  • Practicing keeping oneself ACCOUNTABLE by following through with responsibilities
  • Hard at work by BUSTING your butt in every area of opportunity
  • Note on our wage, it does not include the tips that you will make as a part of our SQUAD!
