Job Title : Windows / Azure Systems Architect

Onsite : FULLY ONSITE in Cape Coral FL

Assignment : 6 mon CTH

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows / Azure Systems Architect with Team Lead experience to design implement and manage enterprise-level IT infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windows server engineering virtualization cloud platforms and endpoint management with a proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver robust scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture Design : Develop and maintain secure high-performance Windows and Azure-based infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs.
  • Server Management : Oversee Windows Server environments ensuring optimal performance security and scalability through expertise in Group Policy DNS DHCP and Active Directory.
  • Cloud Integration : Architect and manage Azure-based solutions including IaaS PaaS and hybrid cloud deployments ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
  • Virtualization : Design and implement virtualization solutions using VMware and manage backup / recovery processes with Veeam.
  • Endpoint Management : Administer Microsoft 365 (O365) and Intune for device management security and compliance across the organization.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers fostering collaboration driving project delivery and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Security & Compliance : Implement and enforce security policies ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization : Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues and optimize systems for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Documentation & Training : Create detailed technical documentation and provide training to team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 7 years in Windows server engineering and 3 years in a Team Lead or supervisory role.
  • Technical Expertise :

    • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration (2016 / 2019 / 2022) including Group Policy DNS and DHCP.

  • Proficiency in Azure cloud services including Azure AD Virtual Machines and networking.
  • Extensive experience with VMware vSphere and ESXi for virtualization.
  • Expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication for data protection and disaster recovery.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (O365) administration including Exchange Teams and SharePoint.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.
  • Leadership : Proven ability to lead technical teams manage projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Certifications (preferred) : Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert MCSE VMware VCP or equivalent.
  • Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving skills excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001).
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migrations.
