Job Summary

To support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add an Controls Manager located in AustinTx.

Reporting to the Director Operations Engineering the Controls Manager is responsible for leading a team of controls engineers in the design development and implementation of automated control systems for machinery and processes. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities ensuring projects are delivered on time. The position requires strong knowledge of PLCs HMIs SCADA systems and industrial automation technologies as well as the ability to mentor and guide team members.

What a typical day looks like :

• Leadership & Team Management

Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers providing technical guidance and career development.

Plan and direct controls-related project responsibilities from concept through commissioning.

Design develop and implement control systems including PLC programming HMI development and SCADA integration.

Participate in technical discussions with clients and internal teams.

The experience were looking to add to our team :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Automation or related field.

7 years in controls engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley Siemens Beckhoff etc.).

Strong leadership communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Certifications

KR13
