User / Fab Support :
- Help users and manufcaturing (fab) with issues on desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and printers.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
- Set up new devices and configure them for users.Device Management :
- Install and update operating systems and applications.
- Maintain an inventory of all devices and perform regular checks.Security :
- Ensure devices are secure with antivirus software and necessary updates.
- Assist with encryptions and VPNs to protect company data.Network :
- Help users with basic network issues like Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity.
- Work with other teams for more advanced network problems.Documentation :
- Keep records of all support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Create simple guides for common problems users face.Collaboration :
- Work with other IT teams and communicate with vendors when necessary.Compliance :
- Ensure workstations meet company IT and security policies.
- Keep systems properly licensed and updated.Inventory Management :
- Track and manage workstation hardware / software inventory.System Monitoring : o Monitor workstation performance.o Suggest and implement improvements.
