Job Description

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Lobby Concierge in LENEXA, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a valued member of the Allied Universal team serving at a front desk in a healthcare location, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and offering exceptional customer service while managing security-related situations with professionalism. This position highlights the importance of communication and teamwork, allowing you to make a positive impact every day in a caring and people-first culture where integrity and innovation drive success.

What You'll Do :

  • Greet and assist visitors, staff, and / or patients in a professional and courteous manner at the front desk of the healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Communicate with healthcare facility staff and / or emergency personnel if an incident or emergency response is required.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity at the front entry point.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from visitors, staff, and / or patients.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
