About The Position

ID : 74332551 Shift : 8am-5pm OP and acute care 5x8 Hr Description : Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.Job Summary : -OT will plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy.-Evaluates and treats patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of function / occupation and developmental disorders.-Oversees and ensures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient.-Promotes patient / caregiver self-determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence.-Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.-Coordinates efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care.-Evaluate and Treat Acute Care Inpatient and Outpatient population (PRIMARILY OUTPATIENT).Skills : Required Skills & Experience : -Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.-At least one thirteen 13 week previous travel assignment.-Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.-Must have experience in all areas HHC, OP, Acute.Preferred Skills & Experience : -EPIC experience; can train on-site.Education : Required Education : -Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.Preferred Education : -Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.Required Certifications & Licensure : -NM state Occupational Therapist license. -BLS certification required.-BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.Preferred Certifications & Licensure : -N / AJob Category : Clinical - Allied Guaranteed Hours : 40.00 Contract Weeks : 81
