Robert Half is looking for an Office Assistant to join our client's team in Gresham, Oregon, on a contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication within the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clerical tasks and customer service, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
Responsibilities :
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure timely communication.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Provide courteous and attentive customer service to visitors and callers.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and functional.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments to support efficient workflow.
- Assist with preparing reports and maintaining records for organizational needs.
- Collaborate with team members to support various administrative projects.
- Ensure compliance with office procedures and policies.
- Handle other administrative tasks as assigned to support the office's overall operations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Customer service experience with a focus on being detail oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
