Here's what you'd do : -

As a Cable Inspection Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our cable products. -

You'll use your expertise to inspect cables, identify non-conformances, and work with our team to resolve quality issues. -

Inspect cables using predetermined methods, operations, and specifications.-

Use measuring devices like dial indicators, preset micrometres, and scales.-

Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.-

Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, and inspection instructions.-

Monitor and verify quality per statistical process or other control procedures.-

Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management to resolve quality issues.-

Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.

Pay : $19.00 - $28.00

Hours :

4 / 10 hrs / Week. (1st shift).

Length : Contract (12 months

Required Skills / Qualifications : -High School Diploma or GED.-Minimum 2 years of experience in soldered and crimp cable inspection using IPC-A-620 standards.-Minimum 2 years of inspection experience.-Minimum 2 years of experience in Computer Operations, Blueprint Reading, IPC-WHMA-A-620, Visual Inspection, Wireharness Print Reading.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications : -Your attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment will make you a valuable asset to our organisation.-Ability to interface with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers, and management.-Good background in the manufacturing process of cable inspections.-Has the willingness and ability to perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed.-Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions.-A team player with good verbal and written communication skills.-Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues.
