About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network -

  • Full Time
  • Hours : 3 - 4 half days in clinic, 3 - 4 half days in surgery, 1 full day off
  • Employed
  • New Graduates Welcome to Apply
  • Average Patients seen : Half Day Clinic 12 – 15, Half Day Surgery 8 – 10
  • Call Schedule : 1 : 5 : No clinic during call week only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage

    • Additional Info : Join a busy, established practice with 5 experienced physicians and multiple advanced practice providers.

    Ideal candidate will have ERCP experience, an interest in Hepatology and a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

  • Practice shares 3 RN's, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-house
  • Outreach Required : Clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, Valparaiso (all within 30 minutes commute)
  • Potential Virtual Visits

    • Shared collaboration between physician for APP's in group

  • Hospital based Nurse Practitioner sees new consults and rounding ahead of physicians
  • Clinic based Nurse Practitioner

    • Strong mentorship available from senior physician leadership

    Strong referral base : On average 75 -100 per week for general GI

    Onsite Equipment : BRAVO, Pill Cam, Fibroscan
