Job Summary
- Design, specify and manage installation of integrated systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical oversight of a project from award through installation and completionReview project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completenessReview hour estimation for work based on needs analysis, scope of work and bid requirementsDevelop engineering and architectural (RCP / Floor Plan) drawings, calculations, acoustical modeling as neededIdentify and address technical or logistical impediments to delivering scope of workIdentify special requirements for project, including but not limited to : test equipment, specialized tools, rigging supportTest audio DSP or video processing systems software required for system functionalityProvide engineering support to project installation team when neededProvide technical oversight on commissioning of systems both in-house and on-siteMeet with current / prospective vendors to help evaluate productsProvide weekly project updates for Project ManagerResponsible for assisting the Project Manager in monitoring project budgetDesign wall plates and overlaysTest integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when neededProvide engineering and DSP system programming support to project installation team when neededCoordinate with Project Manager to assist with securing the necessary personnel for installationSupport Project Manager in project hand-off to the installation team when neededProvide Project Manager documented test results from system testing and commissioningReview project designs created by internal and external resources and submit to CAD departmentReview field and shop red-line drawings, revise shop drawings to "as-built' status for submission to CAD department.Other duties as required.Ability to travel to various job sites requiredOther duties assigned as needed

Communicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely mannerProven business writing skillsProficient with test and calibration equipmentSupport user acceptance testingAbility to program, change and troubleshoot (AMX / Crestron)Ability to diagnose complex system problemsAdvanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipmentAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesEffective communication and interaction with employees, clients and colleaguesValid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standardsEducation and / or Experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredMinimum Five years of AV experience is preferredA four year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experienceWorking Environment
