Salary : 16.50

Day Porter

Location : Westminster, CA

Shift : 8 hours per day, MondayFriday between 8 am and 5 pm. Schedule will be provided upon hiring.

Pay Rate : $16.50 per hour to start

Common Duties (including but not limited to) :

  • Represent Juniper Cleaning positively with professional and friendly interactions with clients, coworkers, and management
  • Maintain a high level of customer service for clients, associates, and management
  • Clean and disinfect work areas
  • General cleaning of office spaces, break rooms, conference rooms, entrances, lobbies, corridors, elevators, stairways, and main offices
  • Dust and wipe cubicles, cabinets, and desk furniture
  • Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash properly
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Restock bathroom and kitchen supplies
  • Monitor restroom supplies, take inventory, and replenish as needed
  • Stay busy throughout the shift by proactively checking all areas for cleaning or restocking needs
  • Regularly walk the property during your shift to keep all areas clean and presentable
  • Report safety hazards, broken equipment, or customer concerns to the supervisor
  • Handle client requests that fall within the cleaning scope (such as unclogging toilets, changing light bulbs, and similar tasks)
  • Follow all company rules, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements :

  • Reliable and punctual attendance is of great importance for this role

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to providing excellent work every time
  • Dependable and trustworthy someone who takes pride in doing the job right
  • Able to lift to 38 lbs
  • Physically able to walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, reach, and carry throughout the shift
  • Understand how to use a mobile device for communication and clocking in and out
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Willing to participate in ongoing training and self-improvement
