Note : This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at either the Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC office.
Note : The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of transportation hydraulic design experience, preferably with NCDOT projects.

Job Description
Lead and support hydrology and hydraulic analysis for roadway and transportation projectsDesign stormwater management systems, ponds, and conveyance systemsPerform erosion control and outfall analysis to ensure compliance with environmental standardsContribute to all aspects of roadway drainage design including culverts, bridges, ditches, BMPs, and watershed studiesConduct site visits and fieldwork to confirm existing conditionsDevelop hydrologic and hydraulic improvements for roadway and drainage projectsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, sub-consultants, and permitting agenciesExtract and analyze data from MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, and related toolsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staffManage project scopes, schedules, and budgets when assignedQualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplineProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredMinimum of 5 years of hydraulic design experience, ideally with NCDOT projectsProficiency with MicroStation, GEOPAK Drainage, and HEC-RASWorking knowledge of NCDOT Guidelines for Drainage Studies and Hydraulic Design and FHWA Hydraulic Design ManualSoil erosion and sediment control design experienceFamiliarity with OpenRoads Designer and SUDA is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentMust be authorized to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available)Why This Is a Great Opportunity
