We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Project Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for leading and supporting the delivery of client-facing IT projects. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment where client satisfaction and timely project execution are top priorities. This role requires the ability to manage hands-on implementation tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead or support the design, implementation, and successful completion of IT infrastructure projects.
  • Configure and deploy systems including servers, networks, Microsoft 365, and Azure components.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to define scope, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical support during and after project rollout to ensure a smooth transition to ongoing support teams.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure accurate handoff materials are completed.
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and follow-through.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT support or engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in networking technologies, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and LAN / WAN communication.
  • Effective time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Some college coursework in information technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to transport and set up IT hardware.
  • Beneficial Knowledge :

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 / 11, Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling topologies and infrastructure design.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant configuration.
  • Experience with Linux environments is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as MCP, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft / CCNA / CCDA are strongly preferred.

  • Additional Information :

    This position may require lifting equipment up to 25 lbs., prolonged periods of standing or sitting, and travel to and from client sites.
