Weatherization Field Technician
The Weatherization Field Technician ensures the installation of safety and home energy-saving measures, working to reduce the monthly energy costs of clients. They will weatherize homes by repairing or installing new windows, insulating ductwork, insulating attics, and maintaining heating, ventilating, & air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Compensation : The hourly wage for this position is between $20 and $25. The actual starting hourly wage for the selected candidate will be based on experience. Schedule : Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7 : 30 am to 6 pm. Work schedules will be determined by the employee and their Supervisor and / or Department Manager and approved by their Supervisor.
Reports to : The Weatherization Program Manager

Physical Requirements : This position works outdoors and in client residences. Some work may include entering attics, basements, crawl spaces, and living spaces. Frequent travel will be required in this position. This position requires the ability to exert physical effort, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. The individual must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Working in cramped or confined spaces.
