What You’ll Do
Lead and Deliver Projects
- Manage multiple concurrent projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables stay on track.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to keep communication clear, tasks aligned, and progress visible.
- Oversee project documentation, milestone tracking, and reporting to maintain transparency at all levels.
Collaborate and Communicate
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.Build trust through proactive updates, consistent follow-through, and solutions-focused communication.Partner with leadership, operations, and field teams to align resources, remove roadblocks, and deliver results.Maintain Process and Documentation Discipline
Create and maintain detailed project schedules, statements of work, and related documentation.Track deliverables, budgets, and performance metrics across multiple simultaneous initiatives.Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen accountability, and improve documentation quality.Drive Budget and Vendor Performance
Manage project financials — budgets, forecasts, and vendor costs — to ensure profitability and predictability.Oversee vendor timelines and quality, negotiating as needed to protect outcomes and schedules.Conduct periodic reviews and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.Lead with Technical and Operational Awareness
Interpret project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide teams effectively.Collaborate with technical specialists and field staff to ensure projects align with design intent and safety standards.Travel periodically to project sites to oversee execution, testing, and client interactions.What We’re Looking For
5+ years of progressive project management experience within a technical, mechanical, or operational environmentStrong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects at onceExcellent communication and client relationship management abilitiesExperience developing schedules, documentation, and reports for cross-functional teamsSolid understanding of budget management, vendor oversight, and contract trackingAbility to interpret technical drawings or specifications (you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable navigating technical information)Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Smartsheet or similar project tools a plusPMP certification preferred (or interest in obtaining); OSHA-10 certification helpfulWillingness to travel as needed (average 30–50%, typically Monday–Friday)What You’ll Bring
