Job Duties

SCRUB DUTIES ONLY – 4-person team

Scrub role only; panning performed by Rad Techs

Staffing / Leadership

Cardiology Coverage :

Intensivist MD in-house 24 / 7

Cardiology MD on-call after hours, available 24 / 7

Leads : 1–2 Team Leads present daily

Charge does not typically take an assignment

Schedule & Call Requirements

Shifts :

Mon–Fri, 0700–1530 + call

Team Lead manages schedule; posted 17 days prior

Flexibility to consider 4×10 hr shifts

Weeknight Call : 1 weekday per week

Call hours : 3 : 30 PM–7 : 00 AM (Mon–Thurs)

Weekend Call : Every 3rd weekend

Fri–Mon morning (24-hr weekend call + Monday night call 3 : 30 PM–7 AM)

Holiday Call : Every other holiday

Call Response Time : 20 minutes

Dress Code / Other Requirements

Scrubs provided

Dedicated hospital work shoes required

Lead provided (if traveler does not have their own)

Bring your own lock for lockers

Orientation

One week of department-specific orientation

Radius Rule & Compliance

Must be outside 50 miles

Candidates cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility under CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity

RTO :

Must be submitted upfront

Max 7 days per 13-week contract

No additional RTO approved post-submission
