In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities :

• Develops a global sourcing strategy for IT software, hardware, and related items.
• Defines project scope and facilitates execution, identifying savings opportunities in order to provide differentiating value.
• Works with Business Area, Business Unit or Enterprise-wide, cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, identify new sources of supply and meet business requirements.
• Negotiates and manages contracts and relationships with suppliers to drive innovative strategies that enhance performance.
• Implements policies and metrics to ensure that savings goals are realized and performance requirements are achieved.
• Acts as the main focal point for all matters pertaining to the given category.
• Responsible for quality and performance of supplier products.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition / disciplinary actions.
