Description
ProgenyHealth is seeking a talented Sr Data Analyst / Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Analytics & Data Engineering team. The Data Analyst will work directly with ProgenyHealth Stakeholders and team members within a continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) model, using agile methods within Azure DevOps to develop new analytics content for internal stakeholders and external clients. This position is a contract to hire position.
Responsibilities :
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing advanced dashboards and reports tailored to business needs, often using tools like Tableau, SSRS, and Excel
- Schedule design sessions and meet with internal Stakeholders to develop reporting / dashboard requirements and UAT plans
- Deploy work through our continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) model
- Track and update work within Azure DevOps using best practices
- Hands-on experience using technical documents such as data dictionaries to develop analytics
- Participate in Release Management meetings
- Investigate performance issues with dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc query environments and mitigate those issues
Requirements
Qualifications :
7+ years of hands-on experience developing content with clinical data sets required. Job level commensurate with experience.7+ years of SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) experience. Must have the ability to write succinct, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data required7+ years of Industry experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology required7+ years of creating and managing reports and interactive dashboards in Tableau preferred7+ years of GIT experience preferredFull understanding with the ability to articulate the difference between relational and dimensional data modelsExcellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior leadersKnowledge of ETL\ELT and data warehouse concepts and processesAbility to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiencesCuriosity and passion about data, visualization and solving problemsWillingness to question the validity, accuracy of data and assumptionsEagerness to learn in a fast-paced environmentB.S. degree in math, statistics, computer science, information technology or equivalent technical fieldProgenyHealth positively recruits people from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities - if you need an accommodation to interview, please contact us by email : careers@progenyhealth.com
