DYAS Construction Management is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Controller to lead our financial operations. This full-time, on-site position involves oversight of accounting systems, payroll, benefits, and HR functions, with a primary focus on managing QuickBooks, AP / AR, collections, disbursements, and employee compensation programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and disbursements using QuickBooks
  • Manage company-wide payroll processes, employee benefits, and compensation programs
  • Monitor cash flow, financial statements, and reporting accuracy
  • Support HR operations, including onboarding, insurance enrollment, and employee records
  • Prepare financial data for year-end reporting, audits, and tax compliance
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for budgeting, forecasting, and tracking expenses
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
  • Communicate with vendors, banks, and insurance providers as needed
  • Collaborate with executives to support strategic financial decisions
  • Train and guide administrative team members as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction or related industry preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of AP / AR, payroll, and general ledger accounting
  • Experience managing HR, employee insurance, and benefits programs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive financial information with discretion
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
