Mobile Sonographer

Job Title : Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer (General & Vascular)

Location : Baltimore / Bowie, MD

Schedule :

Day shift, Monday–Friday

Occasional weekend coverage as needed

Openings : 2

Required Certifications (1 of the following) :

ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)

General and Vascular ultrasound experience is required; Echocardiography is a plus.

Role Overview :

Seeking skilled Mobile Sonographers to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a variety of healthcare settings. This position involves travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle to deliver care in environments such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, home-based patient services, and correctional facilities.

Responsibilities :

Self-dispatch or coordinate with dispatch for daily assignments

Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at designated locations

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and transmit images to radiologists

Maintain timely communication with dispatch and care sites

Comply with uniform and communication protocols

Respond promptly to urgent messages

Participate in required meetings and training sessions

Qualifications :

Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program

Valid certification (ARDMS or CCI)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Professional demeanor with strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Competency with smartphone and basic computer operations

Ability to navigate regional geography efficiently

Responsible for equipment maintenance and status reporting

Open to mentoring and training new technologists

Ability to meet physical requirements of transporting equipment and providing care
