Job Summary :
Our client in Saline, MI is looking for a CATIA Programmer / Developer. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do :
- Creating parametric models to automate making high volumes of similar parts.
- Develop new automation / tool development for internal customers (R&D engineering).
- Help expansion of tool database in other segments.
- Existing tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Working in a team of 3-4 and sharing thoughts & ideas collaboratively.
- End user support (working with internal customers to troubleshoot and improve tools).
- Tool documentation (help docs, demo videos, etc.).
- Promoting awareness for new applications (training, new tool advertising, etc.).
- Website maintenance.
- Support implementation of data analytics (tracking usage, time savings and flagging underutilized tools and areas for improvement).
- Weekly status reporting.
Basics :
Minimum 5 years of experience using Visual basic and / or C++.Minimum 3 years of CATIA V5 experience.CATIA V5 experience in the following workbenches : Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, Drafting, Knowledge Advisor, Knowledge Expert, DMU Space Analysis, and DMU Navigator.Must have experience with Power copies, UDF’s and templates.Must be able to communicate effectively in English.Innovative mindset and experience problem solving.Effective written communication using MS office tools a must.Ability to troubleshoot and improve parametric models in CATIA V5.Preferred :
Experience with CAA Rade, html, css, php, python.3 years of programming in CATIA V5.BS in software or computer science related field.Experience with CAE analysis.Understanding of AI or machine learning concepts.Experience with CATIA V6 and / or 3D experience.How You Will Be Successful :
