Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health serves the state of South Carolina with a broad range of psychiatric and substance abuse services. These services address the needs of individuals and families living with mental health and addiction disorders. Psychiatric programs and services for adolescents, adults and senior adults are offered in private inpatient and outpatient settings. Full Time Registered Nurses are eligible for up to $20,000 sign-on bonus

Full-time RNs will be scheduled 7 shifts in a two-week period with alternating weekend days, rotating holidays, and are part of an emergency team.

Responsibilities :

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Duties include assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and / or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; to ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

Qualifications : Education

Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.

Experience

New Graduates accepted.

Licensure / Certification

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.

Qualifications

Education : Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.

Experience : Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred

Age-Specific Competencies : Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric (as unit requires).

Licensure / Certification : Current SC RN license or an RN license from a compact state required; CPR / CPI Certification Required
