Job Title :   Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location :   Plaquemine, LA

Type :   Travel / Contract

Duration :   13 weeks

Schedule :   Day shift, 5 days / week

Pay Rate : $36hr

Job Overview :

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an exciting job in Plaquemine, LA.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients under OT supervision
  • Document patient progress and communicate updates with the care team
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients
  • Participate in team meetings and follow clinic protocols

Mandatory Qualifications & Certifications :

  • Current COTA license in the state of Louisiana
  • CPR / BLS certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited OTA program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a healthcare team
