Project Specialist

We recognize that emotional, behavioral and chemical dependency problems can affect all areas of a person's life. Houston Behavioral is currently looking for an energetic, organized, and dedicated Project Specialist. This is a full time position and will report to the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities and Duties
The following essential job functions must be successfully performed :
Solicits and contracts (closing business) with current and new business prospects that increase patient volume to your assigned service lines.
Accountable to drive top-line revenue and hit annual targets.
Work with Director of Business Development to develop annual referral revenue targets; create, maintain and execute a Houston Behavioral annual referral and volume plan to achieve revenue goals.
Fluent in all Houston Behavioral Health product offerings, value propositions, and ability to align them with clients' needs.
Create an aggressive, comprehensive solicitation and BD strategy to both new prospects and existing clients resulting in a robust increase in referrals of assigned duties.
Work with CFO and DBD to gain a true understanding of cost strategy that is competitive and allows the best opportunity for Houston Behavioral to secure new business while maintaining corporate contribution margin objectives.
Evaluate all new opportunities to ensure the opportunity matches stated company new business target market objectives. Consult with DBD on any opportunities that are outside the scope of new business target market objectives.
Accurately track and report all activities on a daily basis into CRM software.
Execute an effective outreach strategy that includes but is not limited to cold calls, attending exhibitions / conference / trade as necessary; creating and presenting (or oversee others in presenting) customized presentation to wide range of audiences; and participating in client meetings.
Ensure contracting is complete and fully executed for all new business prior to business launch.
Work with Client Services, Director of Business Development, IT and Operations to ensure a smooth implementation and hand-off processes with new clients.
Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients and potential prospects.
Serve as primary business representative and executive sponsor with major accounts.
Routinely meets with key clients and potential prospects at their facility or hosts site visits at HBHH facilities.
Works across departments to develop and implement strategic plans to proactively enhance HBHH ability to meet future needs of existing clients.
Working closely with Client Services, proactively oversees quality resolution issues of "high-risk" client problems or concerns to ensure retention of business and contract renewal.
Works closely with all departments to respond to business and development needs of client ensuring follow-through resolution of issues.
Works with internal resources and department directors to develop innovative solutions.
Working closely with DBD to develop profitable pricing.
Be strategic with Director of Business Development, and Service Line Directors on approaches for different buyer audiences, products, and services.
Be a role-model HBHH leader, building excellent working relationships at all levels while coordinating development and implementation of assigned project plans as they relate to new and existing programs, products, and services.
Is a lead and / or point of reference for other department team members.
Serve occasionally as a speaker representing the company during events such as School District, City and County events, Others as assigned
Provide continuous feedback to Director of Business Development and other pertinent areas.
Proactively evaluate and identify markets changes determining where current and future opportunities exist for developing new business opportunities. Fully communicate these opportunities to Director of Business Development in a timely or scheduled fashion.
Provides ideas to DBD and team members to develop short term and long-term marketing plans.
Maintains current market and competitor analyses. Fully understands the competitive market.
Provide input to the Project Development team regarding trends in the industry, competitive insight, pricing, product positioning and enhancements to drive future product development efforts.
Identify potential partnerships and / or corporate acquisition opportunities that will enhance Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital overall product portfolio.
Assist in the development of product launch strategies and schedules.
Oversee the ongoing maintenance of support of the corporate CRM Client Relationship Management database (currently using Zoho)
Administrative tasks to support all above functions.
Utilize CRM on a daily basis, maintain all records regularly.
