Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist at Sproutlings Speech & Language Center in Orlando, FL. The Occupational Therapist will work directly with children and their families to assess and develop customized intervention plans. The role involves providing therapy to support physical, sensory, and cognitive development, collaborating with other professionals such as speech therapists, and maintaining communication with families. Additional responsibilities include documenting progress, setting therapeutic goals, and participating in team meetings to ensure cohesive care and optimal outcomes for each child.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Occupational Therapy, with a solid understanding of therapy techniques and practices.
• Knowledge and experience in Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, and related medical practices to address the unique needs of children.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and their families effectively.
• Licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist, and the ability to meet regulatory and compliance standards for the state of Florida.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children to empower their developmental journey.
• Experience in working within a child-focused multidisciplinary team is a plus.
